Democrats chairman Yair Golan sent Sara Netanyahu a legal warning demanding a public apology within 24 hours and financial compensation to be donated to survivors of the Nova massacre, or he will pursue a defamation lawsuit of at least 2.5 million shekels.
The move follows Sara Netanyahu’s remarks questioning how Golan was “already dressed and ready” early on October 7 while others, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, did not yet know what was happening. Golan says he learned of the attack when the first sirens sounded at 6:29 a.m. and subsequently traveled south, where he rescued six people who fled the Nova massacre.
