A 22-year-old Utah man has been federally indicted on attempted hate crime and explosives charges after threatening to blow up a synagogue. Skyler AJ Rose of Ogden posted violent antisemitic threats online, and investigators discovered six functional pipe bombs, bomb-making materials, two rifles and ammunition inside his home, the Justice Department announced Thursday. Investigators also discovered that Rose had searched Google Maps for a synagogue approximately three miles from his home. He was originally arrested in December, and a federal grand jury indicted him Wednesday on multiple charges.
