A former bodyguard for slain Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was granted asylum in Britain and later obtained British citizenship before allegedly helping coordinate attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets across Europe. The Times reports.
German prosecutors accuse the man, identified only as “Mr X,” of procuring and transporting weapons for planned Hamas attacks. He was arrested in London last November and remains in British custody awaiting possible extradition to Germany.
