In response to today’s IDF strike targeting Hamas Rafah Brigade commander Nael Abu Obeid, who Palestinian sources in Gaza confirm was eliminated, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz released a joint statement declaring: “Our message is clear: No terrorist is immune, and Hamas will not be in Gaza.” The strike comes just days after the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated the commander of Hamas’ Khan Younis Brigade and other senior Hamas terrorists.
