China has continued supplying Iran with dual-use components used in drones and ballistic missiles throughout its war with the U.S., with Iranian customs records showing roughly 1,300 shipments from China to Iran’s Defense Ministry during the first six months of 2026, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
The shipments reportedly included electronics, GPS devices, motors and aircraft parts, while Iran sharply increased air cargo flights from China following the U.S. naval blockade. China denies wrongdoing and says its trade with Iran complies with international rules.
