Warren Buffett is stepping down as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, completing his transition away from the company’s leadership after more than six decades. The 96-year-old will become chairman emeritus and remain on Berkshire’s board, Reuters reports. Buffett’s son, Howard Buffett, will succeed him as chairman. Greg Abel, who took over as CEO at the beginning of this year, will continue running the company.
