Retired Turkish admiral Cihat Yaycı, a former senior naval commander, has threatened a direct military confrontation with Israel, claiming that Turkish forces could overwhelm the IDF in a ground war, according to Israeli reports. Speaking in an interview with Turkish media, Yaycı described a scenario in which millions of Turkish men could move south toward Israel. His remarks were made in a personal capacity and were not an official announcement of Turkish military plans.
