A 19-year-old Kafr Qasim resident who performed National Service as a firefighter was arrested on suspicion of planning terrorist attacks, attempting to establish a terrorist cell, and making contact with Hamas operatives and an individual linked to Iranian intelligence, i24NEWS reports. Investigators allege he used access gained through his firefighting role to examine a strategic site as a potential target, downloaded bomb-making manuals and attempted to build explosives. He also allegedly tried to recruit two acquaintances into a terrorist cell. An indictment is expected Tuesday.
