Five members of the Shas Moetzes visited HaRav Moshe Tzedaka amid concerns that he may issue a letter calling on the public not to vote for Shas in the upcoming elections. The visit was reportedly aimed at preventing the publication of such a letter. During the meeting, HaGaon HaRav Tzedaka reportedly clarified that although neither he nor his father participated in Knesset elections, their longstanding practice should not be interpreted as opposition to Shas.
