A last-minute intervention by the Vizhnitz Rebbe helped resolve a disagreement surrounding the traditional election letter issued by the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel, just one day before Israel’s elections. The letter was published Monday morning in the Chareidi newspapers Hamodia and Hamevaser, calling on the public to vote for United Torah Judaism (Gimmel). Unlike previous elections, the letter appeared without the individual signatures of the Admorim, following a request from Ger. However, its traditional wording remained unchanged.
