The IDF eliminated Hamas Nukhba terrorist Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Kandil in a strike in the Khan Younis area on Monday. Kandil infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and took part in the killing of Nahal Brigade Commander Col. Yonatan Steinberg. The IDF said Kandil had recently been advancing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while working to restore Hamas’s capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.
