Israel’s Supreme Court unanimously ruled that party representatives at polling stations cannot send parties real-time information identifying who has already voted, overturning a Central Elections Committee decision that had allowed the practice to continue, Bechadrei Charedim reports.
The information has been used by parties to identify potential supporters who have not yet voted and mobilize them to the polls. Justice Minister Yariv Levin blasted the ruling, accusing the court of trying to suppress right-wing turnout.
