Greece and Israel are set to sign agreements Monday in Tel Aviv launching the $3.6 billion “Achilles’ Shield” integrated air and missile defense network. The system will combine Israel’s Spyder, Barak MX and David’s Sling systems with Greece’s existing defenses to counter drones, aircraft and ballistic missiles, including AI-enabled capabilities. Delivery is planned within 35 months, with 25% Greek industrial participation.
