🚨*DRAMA IN AGUDAS YISRAEL:* Following the shakeup involving Degel HaTorah MKs Moshe Gafni and Uri Maklev, Belz is making a major change of its own: the Belzer Rebbe has decided to replace longtime MK Yisrael Eichler with Rav Elyakim Stark as the chassidus’ Knesset rep. The decision was made last week but was delayed due to the Belzer Rebbe’s health condition. Stark is the chairman of the Belzer chassidus’s Executive Committee and a powerful political figure in the chassidus. In the last municipal elections, he effectively managed the entire political operation and gained extensive political experience.
