Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel intends to maintain control of the Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon after the IDF destroyed Hezbollah’s massive underground infrastructure beneath the strategic area before Rosh Hashanah. Israeli security officials say Hezbollah terrorists have already been detected attempting to operate in areas where the terror group’s infrastructure was destroyed. Israel has warned that attempts by Hezbollah to reestablish itself there will be met with immediate strikes.
