A U.S. Navy sailor who jumped from the USS Abraham Lincoln in an apparent suicide attempt is now facing disciplinary action for “malingering” and being absent without leave, MS NOW reports.
His wife says he was denied paternity leave, received little mental health care after the incident, and was ordered back to work before his first therapy appointment. He now faces a captain’s mast and could lose up to half his pay.
