The IDF eliminated Shadi Abu Hasira in an airstrike in Gaza City on Sunday. Abu Hasira headed the “Geneva” money exchange network, which transferred tens of millions of shekels in foreign currency to Hamas’ military wing, and managed a company that facilitated the transfers, according to the IDF. The funds were used to finance Hamas terrorists, rebuild military infrastructure and advance attacks, the IDF said. Abu Hasira was also involved in planning attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and restoring Hamas’ capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire.
