Israeli and Lebanese officials are preparing to meet in Tampa, Florida, for U.S.-mediated security discussions concerning Hezbollah's disarmament and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon. The talks are scheduled for October 20 and 21. Israel is demanding concrete action by the Lebanese Army against Hezbollah's military infrastructure before further IDF withdrawals, while Lebanon is calling for an end to Israeli strikes.
