French police arrested a suspect following the destruction of a historic town hall in Limoges during violent nationwide riots. The 19th-century building was engulfed in flames, causing its roof and belfry to collapse. Counterterrorism investigators have joined the arson investigation. The suspect, approximately 40 years old, was arrested by a specialized police tactical unit and reportedly had connections to ultra-left political movements.
