The British government announced a public inquiry into the deadly Yom Kippur 2025 terrorist attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester, in which two Jewish mispallelim, Adrian Daulby and Melvin Cravitz, were killed. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said the inquiry would examine the circumstances surrounding the attack. Reuters reports. The terrorist, Jihad Al-Shamie, drove toward people outside the shul before attacking with a knife and was subsequently shot dead by police. Investigators later established that one of the Jewish victims was fatally struck by police gunfire during the emergency response.
