Israeli security officials say terrorism in Judea and Samaria is currently at its lowest level since 2011, crediting intensive activity by the IDF, Shin Bet, Israel Police and Border Police. Officials nevertheless warn that Hamas operatives abroad continue attempting to direct attacks, while Israel is also monitoring weapons smuggling from Jordan and preparing for possible instability surrounding the eventual succession of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
