The IDF announced new security restrictions ahead of Israel’s elections on Tuesday, October 27. Beginning Sunday through Monday, Palestinian workers will be barred from entering Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley, with exceptions for industrial zones and certain approved areas.
On Election Day itself, a complete ban on Palestinian workers entering or leaving these areas will take effect, including industrial zones. All land crossings will also be closed throughout Election Day (Tuesday), following recommendations from Israel’s security establishment.
