Iran’s shadow oil tanker fleet has run out of crude after months of a U.S. naval blockade. According to shipping analysts at Kpler, Iran’s massive offshore oil reserves, which allowed Tehran to keep selling billions of dollars in crude to China despite the blockade, were completely depleted by mid-October. The Wall Street Journal reports.
U.S. Central Command says the blockade has already cost Iran at least $25 billion in oil revenue, severely restricting a major source of funding for the regime and its military apparatus.
