🇮🇷 REPORT: Satellite Images Show Faster Building at Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain Site
- New satellite analysis says Iran has accelerated construction at the deeply buried Pickaxe Mountain complex near Natanz, with more road and building work in 2026 than previously observed, including reinforced tunnel portals.
- CSIS said the imagery does not show uranium enrichment or warhead production inside the mountain and cannot confirm centrifuges have been moved in.
- Iran’s stockpile of about 440.9 kg of 60% enriched uranium remains a proliferation concern, the IAEA says, but weapons-grade enrichment and a completed warhead have not been publicly confirmed.
