The Pentagon has added another U.S. military death to its public casualty database amid the war with Iran, raising the officially disclosed total to 19. U.S. officials indicate the actual number of American military deaths is higher, The Washington Post reports. The Army identified the officer as Capt. Bianca C. Wilkerson, 37, of Norfolk, Virginia. She died September 18 after suffering what the military described as a “non-combat-related medical emergency” while en route to the Middle East. Wilkerson was assigned to Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina and was supporting operations in Doha, Qatar.
