Education Minister Yoav Kisch acknowledged Tuesday that Israel is expected to suffer a significant decline in upcoming international OECD education rankings, saying the effects of the prolonged war will be evident in student performance. Kisch made the comments as approximately 2.6 million Israeli children returned to school Tuesday, including around 180,000 students beginning first grade.
