🇺🇸🇮🇷 — REPORT: Trump Aides Want Quieter Iran War Before Midterms - Top aides to President Trump are pushing to keep the Iran war contained before the November midterms, four people familiar with the discussions told Reuters. - Officials said they want more economic pressure on Tehran after months of military action failed to secure concessions. “We are keeping the pressure on Iran,” one White House official said. “But November is a priority.” - A late August Reuters/Ipsos poll found 31% of Americans approve of the war and 63% disapprove. Sources said heavier strikes could be considered after the election, but no decision has been made. Both sides have exchanged attacks in recent days.
