Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Yerushalayim conducted a major emergency drill simulating a biological terror attack, testing how medical teams would respond to numerous people exposed to a dangerous biological agent. The pre-planned exercise was conducted together with the Defense and Health ministries and included activity in Ma’ale Adumim. Hospital teams practiced identifying, isolating and treating exposed patients while preventing contamination from spreading, with lessons from the exercise intended to help shape national hospital procedures.
