🇫🇷✡️ NEWS: French Jews On Edge As Riots Rage Across France Violent riots have swept France this weekend, with about 1,200 arrested and hundreds of police and security forces hurt, as official figures climbed from around 150 to as many as 1,000. Many rioters are waving Palestinian flags, and in Paris a shul in the 19th arrondissement was found ransacked this morning; it's not yet clear if that was antisemitic or part of the looting. With the Jewish community worried, Bruno Benjamin, head of the CRIF Jewish umbrella group in Marseille, is calling on the government to declare a state of emergency, "send in the army" and arrest the rioters, who he says are being organized by the far left.
