🇮🇱🇶🇦 - BREAKING: Elections Chief Orders Shin Bet Probe Into Suspected Foreign Money Behind Arab Turnout
- Central Elections Committee chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg ordered Shin Bet chief David Zini to investigate suspicions that foreign entities illegally funneled large sums to boost Arab turnout in Tuesday's election, citing "serious suspicions" of "improper influence through foreign funding by external entities acting against Israeli interests"
- Likud alleged widespread fraud by Arab parties, including bribery, forgery and voting under false identities, and said its evidence includes "thousands of envelopes containing cash alongside Ra'am party ballots." Likud believes the money came from Qatar and Turkey
- Police said they found no investigative or intelligence basis for Likud's claims of "vote theft"
