President Trump wants to transform part of his West Palm Beach golf club into a permanent presidential retreat modeled after Camp David, The Washington Post reports. Under the proposal, the site would host future presidents, foreign leaders and international summits, with Trump personally funding the presidential residence and other facilities. The plan is being considered by Palm Beach County and would reportedly be completed after Trump leaves office.
