A senior IDF officer at the rank of brigadier general is facing a command-level investigation over serious allegations including conflicts of interest, abuse of authority and transferring classified information to an unauthorized individual, Arutz Sheva reports. The case began with a detailed complaint filed by an IDF major in May and was investigated by the Military Police’s special investigations unit. Following a decision by the Military Prosecution, the case has now been transferred to an inquiry led by the IDF Deputy Chief of Staff, after which officials will determine whether action should be taken against the officer.
