Security officials warned of a continued high likelihood of an attack on civilians, amid uncertainty over Iran and Lebanon. Officials said fighting could resume despite the ceasefires. The current declaration expires October 20, and the extension still requires approval from the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
