At least 24 people were killed in Russian airstrikes on the village of Komyshuvakha in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region on Monday, according to Ukrainian authorities. Russian bombs struck a school being used to distribute humanitarian aid, followed by additional strikes on a nearby shelter where civilians had gathered. Ukrainian officials say dozens remain missing as rescue crews search through the rubble. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attacks, which initially were reported to have killed 18 people before the death toll rose to 24.
