IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Israel Police Commissioner Daniel Levi and Shin Bet Director David Zini held a joint multi-arena security assessment Tuesday as Israel prepares for a sensitive period in the coming weeks, including the upcoming elections. The security chiefs reviewed intelligence concerning Israel’s borders and the home front, as well as efforts to strengthen defenses, combat terrorism and address nationalist crime. The three agencies agreed on a series of immediate measures combining their respective capabilities to ensure the elections are conducted securely and without disruption.
