A German court sentenced two men to prison for planning attacks against prominent Jewish and pro-Israel figures on behalf of Iranian intelligence. A Danish national received eight and a half years, while an Afghan accomplice was sentenced to four and a half years.
Prosecutors said the plot targeted leaders including the presidents of the German-Israeli Society and the Central Council of Jews in Germany. One defendant allegedly received instructions from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force.
