Former hostage Avinatan Or has revealed that he attempted to dig his way out of Hamas captivity after discovering that part of the underground cell where he was being held was constructed from sandbags. Or, who was abducted from the Nova festival on October 7, said he noticed air passing through the wall and began digging in hopes of finding an escape route. The attempt ultimately failed, but Or continued searching for ways to escape throughout his captivity.
