IDF troops arrested an Egyptian national overnight after he reportedly dug beneath the border fence near Nitzana and walked approximately 1.5 kilometers into Israeli territory before being detected by surveillance soldiers. The suspect reportedly admitted during questioning that he entered Israel intending to kill Jews. The Shin Bet is investigating the incident as a suspected attempted terrorist attack.
