An indictment was filed on Monday morning at the Nof HaGalil–Nazareth Magistrate’s Court against Yaakoub Shibli, a 19-year-old terrorist from the village of Shibli in northern Israel, on charges of identifying with ISIS. In a sign of a troubling trend, it is the fourth indictment in recent days against Arab residents of northern Israel on charges of identifying with and supporting ISIS. The terrorist was arrested about three weeks ago by police and the Shin Bet. The investigation revealed that the suspect studied ISIS teachings and even pledged allegiance to the terror organization.
