Reservists party chairman Yoaz Hendel announced that his party will not join any Israeli government that fails to commit to universal military or national service.
Hendel proposed increasing soldiers' salaries by at least NIS 2,000 per month and linking housing, mortgage, daycare, and tax benefits to military or national service. His plan also calls for expanded Charedi enlistment frameworks and additional financial assistance for reservists.
