Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar’s NIS 3 million defamation lawsuit, rejecting Bar’s claim that he lacked Netanyahu’s private phone number on the night of October 7. “Ronen, are you serious?” Netanyahu wrote, saying Bar had his secure phone number and could have contacted him through his Shin Bet security detail. “How many lives we could have saved if only you had called in time,” Netanyahu added.
