President Trump’s Board of Peace is set to unveil a six-month, $2.45 billion Gaza recovery plan Wednesday, laying out 66 projects covering temporary housing, infrastructure, healthcare, economic recovery, security and post-war governance, Axios reports.
The proposal includes roughly $1 billion for infrastructure and $885 million for security, including an international stabilization force and new Palestinian police. It estimates Gaza suffered $35.2 billion in physical damage and will require about $71.4 billion for full reconstruction over the next decade. Representatives from 35 countries are expected at Wednesday’s briefing.
