Religious Zionism chairman Bezalel Smotrich is in advanced talks with Zehut leader Moshe Feiglin over a joint run in the upcoming elections, Amit Segal reports.
The talks are separate from efforts by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to unite Religious Zionism with Itamar Ben Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit, and are aimed at ensuring the parties clear the electoral threshold and preventing right-wing votes from being wasted.
Under the emerging agreement, Feiglin would receive the No. 2, 8 and 10 spots on the joint list, although the final arrangement has not yet been finalized.
