Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg ruled Sunday that Prime Minister Netanyahu can proceed with a meeting with Police Commissioner Danny Levy, despite the attorney general’s attempt to block it just two days before Israel’s elections. Likud said the meeting was intended to discuss security threats and was unrelated to the elections, while Gadi Eisenkot accused Netanyahu of attempting to interfere in the electoral process.
