Iran has reportedly asked Russia to provide advanced Russian-developed versions of the Iranian-designed Shahed attack drone for possible use against Israel and the United States. The request reportedly includes Russia’s jet-powered Geran models, which are considerably faster and can carry larger warheads than earlier Shahed drones. Russia developed the upgraded systems using lessons learned from years of drone warfare in Ukraine.
