Israeli police arrested 21 suspects Tuesday, including career IDF personnel and civilian contractors, in a suspected multimillion-shekel fraud scheme involving military operations in Gaza. Investigators suspect millions of shekels were fraudulently obtained through contracts for civilian engineering equipment and fuel used during the war. The suspects are being questioned on suspicion of fraud, money laundering, bribery and other offenses.
