The U.S. Army has awarded Palantir Technologies and Anduril Industries contracts totaling $192 million to produce eight TITAN tactical intelligence vehicles, Axios reports.
The Army will receive four advanced and four basic variants over the next 18 months. TITAN uses AI to process battlefield data, including information from space-based sensors, allowing troops to identify and track targets and carry out long-range precision strikes more quickly. Additional Army orders are expected in fiscal 2027.3
