The United States is delivering five additional F-35A Lightning II fighter jets to Poland, with the aircraft departing the continental U.S. this morning en route to the Polish Air Force. The delivery will increase Poland’s F-35A fleet from three aircraft to eight. Poland has ordered 32 F-35As in total, with deliveries continuing in stages through 2029. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said in June that Poland expects to have 14 F-35As by the end of 2026.
