Top military commanders from the U.S., Israel and eight Arab countries met privately in Germany last week to discuss the Iran war and regional security, Axios reports. The gathering, organized by CENTCOM chief Adm. Brad Cooper, included the military chiefs of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt alongside Israel.
Cooper assured participants that U.S. forces would remain in the region despite Iranian attacks and outlined plans to expand shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir also briefed the group on Israel’s operations across multiple fronts.
