On Sukkos we r in a temporary structure to: 1. remind us this world is temporary and we should be doing Mitzvos for the long term which is eternal (after one is niftar) 2. Remind us that since we r outside exposed to all the elements we should have bitchon and Emunah that Hashem should watch over us that we should be safe in the Sukkah.
